Camden is loud in the middle and much gentler at the edges. Regent's Park is a few minutes south with the boating lake, the zoo and a lot of open ground; the Regent's Canal towpath runs east towards King's Cross and is flat the whole way. Primrose Hill is close for the view and the slope. The Northern line and the Overground at Camden Road cover most journeys, and the market is best attempted early with a pram.
